Tre sono le ipotesi che sono state di volta in volta avanzate sulle cause del disastro ad Ustica: cedimento strutturale dell'aereo, una bomba a bordo, un missile. Nessuna di queste ipotesi è stata sino ad oggi provata. Frutto del lavoro di tre anni a stretto contatto con due ingegneri aeronautici sulla mole enorme di perizie e testimonianze effettuate nel corso degli oltre trent'anni trascorsi da quella tragica notte del 27 giugno 1980,

On June 27th 1980 a DC9 belonging to the private Italian airline ITAVIA disappears from the radar screens without launching any emergency signal and crashes between the islands of Ponza and Ustica. Eightyone persons died. The hypotheses on the disappearance of the DC9 are three: structural failure, a bomb in the rear toilet of the plane, or an air-to-air missile which struck the civil aircraft by mistake during a battle between unidentified military fighters. Roberta Bellodi, a Sicilian journalist who lost her daughter on that night, and Corrado di Acquaformosa, a Deputy in the Italian Parliament, member of the Commission set up to throw light on the crash of DC 9, try to find out the truth................

Disgraced ex-England captain (Danny 'Mean Machine' Meehan) is thrown in jail for assaulting two police officers. Whilst in jail, he doesn't recieve any favours because of his celebrity status in the outside world. He is out numbered and many prisoners constantly barrage him with insults for letting down his country in a crucial World Cup game. He keeps his head down and has the opportunity to forget everything and change the lives of the prisoners. These prisoners have the chance to put one over the evil guards

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice è un film del 2016 diretto da Zack Snyder.

Basato sui personaggi dei fumetti DC Comics, è il sequel de L'uomo d'acciaio del 2013 e la seconda pellicola del DC Extended Universe. Il film è scritto da Chris Terrio e David S. Goyer ed è interpretato da Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter e Gal Gadot. Si tratta della prima pellicola live-action in cui compaiono sia Batman che Superman, e segna il debutto cinematografico in live-action di Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg e Flash. In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, il genio criminale Lex Luthor manipola Batman e Superman portandoli a scontrarsi tra di loro.

Il film è stato annunciato al San Diego Comic-Con International del 2013. Nel giugno 2013 sia Snyder che Goyer, regista e sceneggiatore del primo film, confermarono il loro ritorno. Le riprese di seconda unità sono cominciate all'East Los Angeles College nell'ottobre 2013, mentre le riprese principali sono cominciate nel maggio 2014 a Detroit e si sono concluse nel dicembre dello stesso anno.

Il film è stato distribuito il 23 marzo 2016 in Italia e il 25 marzo 2016 negli Stati Uniti, anche in 3D, IMAX 3D, 4DX e 70mm. Globalmente il film ha stabilito diversi record al box-office, tra cui quello come miglior esordio per un film di supereroi con $420 milioni, mentre è stato accolto in maniera generalmente negativa dalla critica.

Il supereroe alieno Superman ha spaccato l'opinione pubblica globale, tra chi lo teme e chi addirittura lo adora come un dio. Tra coloro che lo odiano c'è il miliardario Bruce Wayne, di Gotham City, il quale da vent'anni combatte i criminali della sua città con l'alter-ego del misterioso giustiziere mascherato Batman. Bruce considera l'alieno responsabile dell'ecatombe di cittadini di Metropolis, avvenuta 18 mesi prima, durante lo scontro con il generale Zod. Quel giorno, infatti, Bruce era presente durante la battaglia, e tra le macerie si prodigava cercando di salvare quante più persone possibili (tra cui un suo dipendente della Wayne Enterprises, Wallace Keefe, il quale ha perso le gambe nel caos generatosi). Contemporaneamente Superman, sotto l'identità di Clark Kent, giornalista del Daily Planet, è intenzionato a smascherare Batman, in quanto non ha mai condiviso i suoi metodi da brutale vigilante, nonostante il suo capo, Perry White, gli intimi di lasciar perdere. Anche il nuovo capo della LexCorp, il giovane e mentalmente instabile Lex Luthor, è convinto che l'alieno sia una minaccia per l'umanità. Lex cerca quindi frammenti di kryptonite, una speciale roccia che indebolisce e danneggia i kryptoniani, trovandone il pezzo più grande nell'Oceano Indiano, tra i resti della macchina terraformante di Zod: tutto ciò al fine di uccidere Superman. Lex, tuttavia, viene ostacolato dalla Senatrice June Finch, che vorrebbe processare Superman. Ad ogni modo, Luthor ottiene comunque la kryptonite e il cadavere di Zod (corrompendo un politico vicino alla Finch), al fine di usare il DNA dell'alieno morto per creare un'arma biologica, da utilizzare come deterrente contro Superman...

Gedren è una perfida regina che sta conquistando un regno dopo l'altro.
